The most important person you will ever lead is not your employees, your kids, your staff, your church, your organization, etc. The most important person you will ever lead is yourself. Here's the bad news: The most difficult person you will ever lead is yourself. It's so easy to point fingers and focus on what everyone else needs to do to grow and change. It's easy to forget that WE must be growing and changing in order to effectively lead other people. The best gift I give to the people I lead is a healthy and growing me.THEN when I as the leader, start to grown and change, guess what I begin to see happen? People around me start to grow and change. However, it all starts with the leader. It all starts with me. How are you leading yourself?
