CourageToLead.com is devoted to coaching leaders through what keeps them up at night. This is the vision our Founder and CEO, Shawn Lovejoy had when he launched CourageToLead, and it is what our hearts beat for. Through our coaching and consulting, we help leaders and their teams around the world self-assess in three key areas, which we call the Three Gears of Growth: culture, team, and systems. If one gear is stuck, the organization will plateau. We help leaders tackle their weakest gear and formulate a plan to become a healthier organization.

We believe in courageous leadership -- leaders who call it the way they see it, balance grace and truth, enter the tunnel of chaos, and are willing to have courageous conversation. Coaching provides courage by giving permission and perspective. It ensures that a leader’s plans are successful. As a member of the CourageToLead team, interns are a reflection of the brand and should strive to live by CourageToLead’s core values:

Health. We model the way: spiritually, relationally, emotionally, and physically.

Responsiveness. We strive to maintain the 24 hour rule.

Execution. We do what we say we will do.

Empathy. We’ve been where you are. We feel your pain.

Honesty. Wounds from a friend can be trusted.

Quick to listen; slow to speak. We seek to understand before being understood.
