Shawn is the Founder & CEO of CourageToLead.com. His heart beats for coaching leaders and helping them all conquer whatever's keeping them up at night. Shawn has been a Real Estate Developer, a Church Planter, a Megachurch Pastor, and now CEO of a fast growing coaching organization. His heart beats quick for Leadership, Personal Growth, and Organizational Health, and helping people accomplish their momentum. He's been married for 25 years to his best friend Tricia. They have three half-grown kids: Hannah, Madison, & Paul. They all live in Birmingham, AL. Roll Tide!
Chris Bell is is a coach at Courage To Lead. He is a dynamic pastor, leader, and church planter who recently celebrated 20 years of ministry. Utilizing his passionate and impactful teaching of scripture, Chris uses creativity to help people develop an understanding and love of the Word. Chris has been a youth pastor, church planter, and multisite pastor before becoming lead pastor of 3Circle Church in the Baldwin/Mobile county area. Chris has been featured in Outreach Magazine and 3Circle Church was named one of the fastest growing churches in America and the 2nd fastest growing church in Alabama. 3Circle Church is a 5 campus multi-site church with over 3500 weekly attendance. He is married to Nan, and has three children. Chris studied theology and communications at University of Mobile and Luther Rice Seminary.
Terry’s unique marketplace leadership and service style has proven successful in executive and strategic advisory roles for top healthcare and technology companies. His 20+ year career includes successful assignments in product, marketing and sales leadership roles at WebMD (Medical Manager), RelayHealth (McKesson), and most recently on the executive teams of Kareo© and PracticeSuite©, two successful growth-stage companies in healthcare IT, as director and VP of product and brand marketing, respectively. Today, Terry is a sought after consultant for leading product growth, marketing, and sales enablement strategies with an emphasis on helping companies harness the power of their people and their products. He lives in Orange County, California with his wife of 23 years and two amazing boys.
Blake is a coach at Courage To Lead. He has served on 3 Executive Teams in churches ranging from 2,500 to 10,000. Currently he is serving as the Executive Pastor at 3Circle Church in Fairhope Alabama. 3Circle is the 2nd fastest growing church in the state of Alabama and has been listed in the top 100 of fastest growing churches in America. Blake's area of expertise orbits around building and implementing simple systems that work. Efficiency is one of his trademarks, coupled with strategic thinking. Additionally, he gets the importance of the operational components and how it plays a pivotal role in getting any organization to its desired outcome.
Over the past 15 years Ken has founded two companies, Essential Mortgage and Ken Joslin Realty. Essential Mortgage was a top wholesale broker for SunTrust Mortgage and Countrywide Mortgage, averaging over $28 million in volume each year. Ken held a Broker’s License in Georgia, Florida and Alabama with offices located in Gainesville, GA and Columbus, GA. In its first year and a half of business, Ken Joslin Realty has seen over $2 million in sales. Ken was recently awarded as one of the top performers at Virtual Properties Realty in 2017. Ken currently lives in Birmingham, AL with his wife Kristy. They have four daughters and an American Bulldog named Annie.
Danny Anderson is a coach at Courage To Lead. He is Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Church located south of Indianapolis. During his first two years there, he led the church from 2,000 in attendance, down to 900. Since that time, weekly attendance has grown to nearly 4,500! Danny has hands-on experience in transitioning a church, creating and casting a new vision, simplifying programs, building teams, and launching new campuses. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Jackie, his sons Andrew and Beau, and his daughter Ruby. He is an avid reader and enjoys shooting hoops in his free time.
Jeremy Isaacs is a coach at Courage To Lead. He serves as Lead Pastor of Canton Church in metro Atlanta. He has been coaching pastors since 2014 and has written 2 books including “Toxic Soul: A Pastor’s Guide to Leading without Losing Heart”. He has a BA in Christian Ministry from Lee University and a MA in Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Seminary. He goes on #Fri-Dates with his wife Corrie and on Saturdays sits with her on the sidelines of sporting events.
Matthew Day is a coach with CouragetoLead. At a young age, Matthew had a love for real estate and after graduating from Auburn University he launched into a career in commercial real estate which has spanned 17 years. He has successfully represented companies regionally and nationally in fulfilling their real estate needs. Matthew is Founder & CEO of Alon Property Solutions, a commercial real estate company. He has been involved in multiple adaptive reuse projects in urban areas that are being revitalized. Matthew lives in Birmingham, Alabama and is married to his best friend Kristina. They have four amazing children.
Adam is a coach at Courage To Lead. He is Senior Pastor of Bear Valley Church, in Lakewood, CO. He has served on staff at churches with Nelson Searcy, Shawn Lovejoy, and others. Adam believes that most tensions in the church are not a people issue, but a process and systems issue. He loves helping leaders and teams resolve those tensions. Adam is also an adjunct professor at Liberty University.
Léonce Crump Jr. is a coach at CourageToLead. He is an author, international speaker, and the founder and senior pastor of Renovation Church in Atlanta. In 2006, Crump answered God’s call to relocate from Tennessee to Atlanta and begin the process of planting Renovation Church. At the University of Oklahoma, Crump was an All-American wrestler and defensive end for the Sooner football team; he went on to play professional football for the New Orleans Saints. He is author of the book, Renovate: Changing Who You Are by Loving Where You Are, and resides in the heart of downtown Atlanta with his wife, Breanna, and their three daughters and son.
Eric Metcalf is a coach at CourageToLead. He is Pastor at Community Christian Church of Chicago. Eric also directs NewThing’s Leadership Residency Program - a program designed to apprentice church planters to start new churches. Previously, Eric led NewThing, a growing church planting network focused on catalyzing a movement of reproducing churches. Under Eric's leadership, NewThing was able to double in size every year for 3 years straight, reaching a goal of planting one new church every eleven days. Eric has been married for 19 years to hi wife Erin and has three incredible children: Joey, 13, Lydia, 12, and Max, 9.
Lawrence Huey is a coach at Courage To Lead. He is a dynamic communicator and leader, pastor for over 12 years, church planter and Lead Pastor of Epicentre West LA, a vibrant and multiethnic church on the Westside of Los Angeles. Lawrence has a passion to build and develop strong and healthy organizations, including fostering healthy team dynamics, leadership development, and specializes in helping pastors develop systems that facilitate health and growth. Married for 13 years, Lawrence and his wife Sharon reside with their four amazing children: Samantha, 10, Eliana, 8, Benjamin, 6, and Luke, 2, in Los Angeles, CA.
Larry Mayer is a coach at Courage To Lead. After receiving an MBA and helping start a transportation company in Tampa Florida, Larry then became a pastor. Larry later merged his church with Life.Church out of Oklahoma City and became their first campus in Florida. The campus grew from 300 to 2,800 in 9 years under his leadership. Currently Larry is the Campus Pastor at Church By The Glades and is giving leadership to their newest campus in Lake Worth Florida. The Lake Worth Campus has grown from 70 to over 500 in the last two years. Larry is a highly relational leader who loves to lead in the midst of chaos to bring clarity through a team vision, cultural values, systems and team work.
