Shawn is the Founder & CEO of CourageToLead.com. His heart beats for coaching leaders and helping them all conquer whatever's keeping them up at night. Shawn has been a Real Estate Developer, a Church Planter, a Mega Church Pastor, and a coach. Shawn now pursues a vision of raising up an army of coaches to coach a thousand leaders one-on-one every year.
Tricia is a coach at Courage To Lead. She knows what it's like to be a Pastor's Wife. She's been one for over twenty years! She's been coaching Pastor's wives now for over fifteen years and loves mentoring and coaching them through the unique opportunities and challenges that being a pastor's wife can hold. She has been married to Shawn for a quarter century (and deserves a medal for that); and has three children: Hannah, Madison, & Paul.
Chris Bell is is a coach at Courage To Lead. He is a dynamic pastor, leader, and church planter who recently celebrated 20 years of ministry. Utilizing his passionate and impactful teaching of scripture, Chris uses creativity to help people develop an understanding and love of the Word. Chris has been a youth pastor, church planter, and multisite pastor before becoming lead pastor of 3Circle Church in the Baldwin/Mobile county area. Chris has been featured in Outreach Magazine and 3Circle Church was named one of the fastest growing churches in America and the 2nd fastest growing church in Alabama. 3Circle Church is a 5 campus multi-site church with over 3100 weekly attendance. He is married to Nan, and has three children. Chris studied theology and communications at University of Mobile and Luther Rice Seminary.
Blake is a coach at Courage To Lead. He has served on 3 Executive Teams in churches ranging from 2,500 to 10,000. Currently he is serving as the Executive Pastor at 3Circle Church in Fairhope Alabama. 3Circle is the 2nd fastest growing church in the state of Alabama and has been listed in the top 100 of fastest growing churches in America. Blake's area of expertise orbits around building and implementing simple systems that work. Efficiency is one of his trademarks, coupled with strategic thinking. Additionally, he gets the importance of the operational components and how it plays a pivotal role in getting any organization to its desired outcome.
Kevin is a coach at Courage To Lead. He is the pastor at Newbreak Church, Tierrasanta campus, in San Diego, California, and the founder of LeadBravely.org. Kevin specializes in strategic thinking, financial health and developing teams. Kevin served as a student pastor for 10 years, church planter of Epic Church in 2007, and became Executive Pastor of Stevens Creek Church in 2010. Kevin lives in Augusta, GA, with his wife, Melissa, and two daughters. He is an avid surfer and enjoys anything outdoors.
Danny Anderson is a coach at Courage To Lead. He is Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Church located south of Indianapolis. During his first two years there, he led the church from 2,000 in attendance, down to 900! Since that time, weekly attendance has grown to nearly 4,500! Danny has hands-on experience in transitioning a church, creating and casting a new vision, simplifying programs, building teams, and launching new campuses. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Jackie, his sons Andrew and Beau, and his daughter Ruby. He is an avid reader and enjoys shooting hoops in his free time.
Adam is a coach at Courage To Lead. He is Senior Pastor of Bear Valley Church, in Lakewood, CO. He has served on staff at churches with Nelson Searcy, Shawn Lovejoy, and others. Adam believes that most tensions in the church are not a people issue, but a process and systems issue. He loves helping leaders and teams resolve those tensions. Adam is also an adjunct professor at Liberty University.
Holly is a coach at Courage To Lead. She currently the Executive Pastor at Embrace Church in Sioux Falls, SD. Holly previously served as Executive Pastor of Multi-Site Ministries at Crosspoint Church in Nashville, TN; and was part of Executive Leadership Team at Potential Church in Miami, FL. She is passionate about all things Multi-site, as well as working with Executive Leadership Teams. She is married to Chris Brown, who serves as nationally syndicated radio talk show host with Dave Ramsey. They live in Franklin, TN with their three kids.
Matt Adair is a coach at Courage To Lead. He helps pastors live and lead healthy. Emphasizing the importance of simple and sustainable systems, Matt has helped hundreds of pastors experience breakthroughs mentally, physically, relationally, spiritually and vocationally. With more than 20 years of pastoral experience, Matt has been the lead pastor of Christ Community Church in Athens, GA since 2004. He is the former North American Director for the Acts 29 church planting network, and is the founder of Griddiron Solutions. Matt knows churches and he loves pastors.
Van Moody is a coach at Courage To Lead. He has a passion for healthy transformation in individuals, organizations and the world. With a background in business, marketing and ministry he is uniquely qualified to position and empower people for genuine success in every area of life. Van is the lead pastor at The Worship Center in Birmingham, Alabama, which he started in 2006. This thriving church has served more than 8000 members in two locations, with six weekly services and an online campus viewed from as far away as Kuwait. Van is the author of the best-selling book, The People Factor (Thomas Nelson), and resides in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife, Dr. Ty, and their two children, Eden Sydney and Ethan Isaiah.
Toby is a coach at Courage To Lead. He serves as the Lead Pastor for Cross Timbers, a multi-site church in Argyle, TX of three campuses with over 4000 in attendance each weekend. Toby has spent the last ten years of his life investing in and encouraging leaders in the local church. He has written several books including: Living the Dream, The Great Adventure, God Drives Me Crazy, Normal, It Is Well, and Harvest. Toby and his wife Mika recently celebrated 32 years of marriage.
Eric Metcalf is a coach at CourageToLead. He is Pastor at Community Christian Church of Chicago. Eric also directs NewThing’s Leadership Residency Program - a program designed to apprentice church planters to start new churches. Previously, Eric led NewThing, a growing church planting network focused on catalyzing a movement of reproducing churches. Under Eric's leadership, NewThing was able to double in size every year for 3 years straight, reaching a goal of planting one new church every eleven days. Eric has been married for 19 years to hi wife Erin and has three incredible children: Joey, 13, Lydia, 12, and Max, 9.
Ken Hester is a coach at CourageToLead. He is Campus Pastor at Elevation Church leading a staff of 4 people with over 300 volunteers and leaders for the 1,000+ that attend the campus weekly. Ken has 12 years of pastoral experience, serving as a small groups, high school, college, benevolence pastor, administrative pastor and campus pastor. With a passion for excellence and hands-on experience in building strong, dynamic and flexible organizations both in the church and in coaching, Ken brings a unique blend of pastoral and leadership skills to his role as an coach. Currently Ken, his wife Ashley and their 4 month old son, Isaac, live in Gastonia, NC.
Léonce Crump Jr. is a coach at CourageToLead. He is an author, international speaker, and the founder and senior pastor of Renovation Church in Atlanta. In 2006, Crump answered God’s call to relocate from Tennessee to Atlanta and begin the process of planting Renovation Church. At the University of Oklahoma, Crump was an All-American wrestler and defensive end for the Sooner football team; he went on to play professional football for the New Orleans Saints. He is author of the book, Renovate: Changing Who You Are by Loving Where You Are, and resides in the heart of downtown Atlanta with his wife, Breanna, and their three daughters and son.
